The largest EDR (electro dialysis reversal) system constructed in the United States, this project combined an expansion of the existing treatment plant, a new well source and a pipeline connecting the two. The expansion doubles the plant’s daily groundwater treatment capacity, eliminates the use of liquid chlorine and provides the City with complete redundancy for both power and fire protection. All work was completed while the existing facility was in continuous operation.
