This complex hydrant fueling system was constructed to provide updated facilities to accommodate the arrival of the state-of-the-art F-35 fighter jet squadron, enhancing our Air Force's capability to protect freedom around the world.

Project Details
The project consisted of the construction of two new JP-8 Truck Fillstands adjacent to an Aircraft Parking Ramp, along with a new JP-8 Type IV Hydrant Fueling System for simultaneous aircraft hot pit refueling. The new system was connected to existing bulk storage tanks and transfer lines. The project also includes a new POL Operations Facility for supporting personnel, a new Truck Refueler Maintenance Building and upgrades to existing fuel storage tanks.
