Bauer Compressors, a Germany based company, builds world-class compressors and has called Norfolk home to their North American Headquarters for decades. Our design-build team partnered with the Bauer team to provide new office space, manufacturing space, and reconfigure existing production area. This complex project was completed on-time, on-budget and with zero disruptions to operations.

Project Details
This design-build project consisted of a new three story, 30,000 SF addition to the existing office building, a one story, 73,920 SF addition/renovation to the manufacturing facility equipped with an automated metal bender/shaper and a fully automated paint booth for streamlining operations, and full upgrades to the existing exterior. The project was performed in an occupied building that had to remain operational with limited shutdowns. MEB preformed extensive coordination to minimize interruptions to building tenants and operations.
